My name is Tiffinny Potts, I would say I am detail
oriented, a diligent worker, a perfectionist, punctual with my time and
projects, and I love to learn new techniques.
As a graphic designer, I have worked long and hard on
projects in order to make sure they are designed well. Over each semester, I
have honed my design skills such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photo shop, and
my art skills: such as Color Theory, drawing, and photography. I have come a
long way to prove my dedication and worth.
Audubon is one artist who has influenced my work. He was
an ornithologist and a naturalist and a painter. He liked to capture birds in a
moment of time, capturing their natural beauty in an array of different colors.
Another painter who like to use color to emphasize emotion in a frame of time
was Leonardo da Vinci. He creates a mysterious feeling using saturated colors and
the depicting the moment when Mona Lisa
smiles to emphasize this. In many of my designs I like using colors to connect
with my theme and bring the elements out. I enjoy putting forms of motion or
nature into my work as well as connect my vision of things that are graceful or
beautiful.
Artists like Picasso or Leonardo da Vinci capture
particular moments of time in their paintings such as Picasso's Scream. Picasso uses bright colors to
portray the feeling of terror. I like to connect color to moods I create in my
design and as well as show a captured moment in time.
My younger sister is a big influence on me as wellbeing
a dancer she works hard to improve her dance skills. I see this hard work and
she inspired me to apply that hard work into my designs.
In my art I enjoy using color, and designing things that
complement each other nicely when they are paired together. Some of my designs
also contain graceful themes such as dancers, nature, fantasy, and magic.
I put my whole heart into my passion of Graphic
Design. I continually make myself strive to be the best I can be. Little by
little I hope to be better myself and hope that my work can influence others.
